Share of people following a flexitarian diet in Europe 2023, by country

The original survey question was: "Do you follow one or more of the following nutrition rules?" This statistic shows the share of all who answered "Flexitarian (mostly plant-based foods while occasionally allowing meat and fish)".
*Depending on the country, the survey was carried out in the first quarter of 2023 or the data aggregates four survey waves for each quarter from the 2nd of 2022 to the first of 2023. For the folowing countries the data was aggregated: Austria, France, Finland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. Respondent numbers are generally over 2,000 respondents.
