EU-27: Eating habits and diets in 2023

In 2023, approximately nine percent of responding adults in the European Union (EU-27) stated that they were following a lactose-free diet. A combined nine percent of respondents avoided the consumption of meat completely. This includes those who follow a pescetarian, vegan, or vegetarian diet.
