T-Mobile subscriptions has been steadily growing in recent years. As of the first quarter of 2024, T-Mobile had some 99 million postpaid customers in the United States, an increase of around six percent compared to the previous quarter. Meanwhile, the company reported 21.6 million prepaid customers, a decrease compared to the previous quarter with 21.64.

** T-Mobile ceased to report the customer numbers for its wholesale segment in separate categories from the third quarter of 2015 onwards.
*** Starting April 1, 2020, T-Mobile made certain adjustments to align the customer reporting policies of T-Mobile and Sprint, following the merger. This included the discontinuation of reporting wholesale customers.
