In 2021, spending on regional advertising in press in Russia decreased by seven percent relative to the previous year. Radio advertising in regional markets experienced a 24-percent increase in expenditure.

*To select a regional part in the display ad segment, the study used the following criteria: advertisers placing ads in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and at least other five cities with over one million inhabitants were categorized as federal advertising; the rest was categorized as regional advertising.
