Data on the global over-the-top TV and video revenue worldwide in 2022 revealed that SVOD revenue reached 99 billion U.S. dollars. It is expected that subscription-based VOD revenue will continue to increase at a rapid rate and surpass 126 billion U.S. dollars worldwide by 2028. AVOD revenue is set to more than double in the same time period, while the TVOD market is projected to remain quite stable.
