Used passenger car market turnover in Germany 2016-2021
The turnover of the used passenger car market in Germany grew to 105.5 billion euros in 2021. The used car market has seen continuous growth since 2017, but 2020, the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, saw particularly strong year-on-year growth of about 15 percent. While the market and prices of used passenger cars have been growing, revenue from new car sales in Germany has been decreasing since 2019.
