Statista awarded for the second time to be the best statistical database worldwide
Data variety and user friendliness remain convincing in 2015
New York, 16.03.2016 – For the second time in a row, the well-respected American trade publication Library Journal has awarded Statista to be the best statistical database worldwide in 2015. Specifically, Library Journal noted that the platform was easy to use and provided a wide variety of data, not only for German-speaking countries but also for the English and American markets. For example, Statista is now an established and reliable source of data for well-known global players as well as renowned universities such as Harvard or Yale. Statista also maintains close partnerships with influential media like The Independent, Mashable or Forbes, which all publish Statista infographics on a regular basis.
“Every academic or research institution can benefit from Statista’s services,” says Library journal in its press release. This encourages us to keep working on providing even more international countries with Statista data. After the new Spanish and French platforms were launched at the end of 2015, this year started with the opening of the sixth Statista location in Madrid. We are delighted to receive this award again and to be confirmed in our work of consistently providing high quality data and services.
