Rubber recovered from tires out of use in Italy 2013-2022
Over 60,000 metric tons of rubber was recovered from out of use tires in Italy in 2022. This figure peaked at 137 kilotons in 2018 but declined in the following years. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the numbers dropped in 2020, reaching the lowest amount of rubber recovered at 50,000 metric tons in 2021.
