Value of gross written premiums in Russia 2021-2022, by market segment

In 2022, gross written premiums (GWPs) with a value of approximately 366 billion Russian rubles came from the life insurance market segment, seeing a decrease of 158 billion Russian rubles compared to the previous year. Accident and health insurance also saw a decline in written premiums in that year, at nearly 55 billion Russian rubles relative to 2021.
