Active POS terminals number change in the Netherlands 1991-2019
The growth rate on how many active POS terminals there are in the Netherlands continued to slow down in 2019. That year, the number of active POS terminals increased by approximately two percent compared to the previous year, which was less than in previous years. Back then, Dutch consumers increasingly paid for their purchases by debit card as the volume of debit card payment transactions increased with every passing year.
