In 2022, the commercial airlines recorded the first positive EBIT margin of four percent after two consecutive years of negative figures due to the disruptive effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The positive trend has continued in 2023 and is projected to persist in 2024, with an estimated EBIT margin of 6 percent.
