This statistic shows the number of deciders in German households regarding vacation planning from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, 17.41 million people were the sole deciders regarding their vacations, while 6.11 million made no travel bookings at all.

This question was asked in the survey in the following wording: "When something is supposed to be purchased in your household, who decides, what, from which brand, how much it costs.
