Since 2019, the volume of transported spent nuclear fuel of EDF Group in France was around 1,100 tons. It reached in peak in 2015 with more than 1,200 tons of sent fuel transported.
In 2020, the plant of La Hague in France had the largest capacity for re-processing spent nuclear fuel worldwide.
