Domestic overnights in hotels in Czechia 2011-2021
The nights spent in hotels and similar establishments in the Czech Republic increased by 2 million nights (+14.39 percent) since the previous year. In total, the nights spent in hotels and similar establishments amounted to 15.9 million nights in 2021.
According to the NACE REV.2 classification, ‘hotels and similar accommodation’ includes the provision of accommodation to visitors typically on a daily or weekly basis, principally for short stays. These include hotels and similar establishments (for instance operating as ‘bed & breakfast’), resort hotels, suite/apartment hotels, and motels. More permanent accommodation, such as homes and apartments typically offered on a monthly or annual basis, are not included.
