Number of check payments in the UK 2009-2019
The amount of check payments made in the United Kingdom from 2009 to 2019 has changed drastically over time. The usage of this method of payment decreased over the presented period, dropping from around 558 million checks in 2015 to approximately 275.5 million checks written in 2018. This drop corresponds with the decrease in check payments in Europe over this period.
