This data displays the distribution of different types of TV reception in households in Germany from 2008 to 2023. As households can use more than one type of reception at the same time, the sum for each year can exceed 100 percent. In 2023, roughly 42 percent of German TV households used a satellite connection.

Accordingly, only TV sets with an individual satellite receiver are considered using satellite reception."
