This statistic depicts the total amount of freight moved by train annually in Great Britain from 2002/03 to 2020/21. In the period under consideration, freight volume moved by trains presented a trend of decline with some fluctuation. The peak in the freight moved by train was recorded in 2013/14, at 22.71 billion net tonne-kilometers.
