Mexico: pay TV access distribution by technology

At the end of 2022, around 53 percent of pay TV households in Mexico accessed the service through satellite, up from about 41 percent a year earlier. Within that same period, the share of pay TV subscribers using cable connections went from 49 percent to 36 percent. Overall, the pay TV penetration rate in Mexico stood at 65 percent in the fourth quarter of 2022.
