Satellite television had the largest revenue among other pay TV platforms in Eastern Europe, with its revenue exceeding three billion U.S. dollars in 2018. By 2024, it was forecast to see a gradual downfall losing 170 million U.S. dollars in revenue, while the figures of Internet Protocol television (IPTV), digital cable TV, and pay digital terrestrial television were expected to increase.
