Major unicorn companies in Japan 2023, by valuation
As of October 2023, there were seven unicorn companies in Japan. Three of them, Preferred Networks, SmartNews, and SmartHR, were valued at around two billion U.S. dollars. Unicorns are unlisted startup companies with a valuation of one billion U.S. dollars or more.
