Distribution of employment in Romania 2022, by industry and gender
The highest share of people, both male and female, were employed in the manufacturing industry by the end of 2022 in Romania. The industries which recorded a notable difference in gender employment were education and health and social assistance, where the share of employed women was considerably higher. Meanwhile, men dominated the constructions and transport and storage sectors.
