Portugal: governmental forecast for the expansion of the EV fleet 2022-2030

Governmental projections for the expansion of the electric vehicle fleet in Portugal estimated fully electric light passenger vehicles—including passenger cars and other vehicles such as pickups, sport-utility vehicles and crossovers—would grow from some 64,000 in 2022 to over 551,000 in 2030. Plug-in hybrid light passenger vehicles and all-electric light commercial vehicles were also expected to increase, though at a slower rate than their all-electric light passenger vehicle counterparts.
