By 2040, GSMA Intelligence analysis had forecasted that manufacturing sector in India will get 20 percent benefit from the 5G network. The retail sector was expected to get 12 percent benefit from the 5G network across the country. The 5G network was the largest growing network across the nation. The source predicted that Indian economy would be benefited by more than 450 billion U.S. dollars from the 5G network between 2023 and 2040.
