French opinion on the justice system's functioning 2022

In July 2022, almost three-quarters of people surveyed in France (73 percent) considered the justice system to be poorly functioning. This figure represents an increase of ten points from 2017, and is the highest recorded since 1962. During these six decades, the share of French people who felt that the justice system worked poorly was only less than half in March 1966.
