Sustainability reporting rates of firms worldwide 2011-2022, by region
The Asia-Pacific region has had the largest growth rate in sustainability reporting, moving from roughly 50 percent of firms to almost 90 percent of companies engaging in sustainability reporting. The Middle East and Africa were the only regions to experience a regression as the number of firms participating in sustainability reporting dropped by five percent from 2011 to 2022.
