In 2022, the average interest rate for above medium and long-term loans in Vietnamese dong was slightly higher than 9.9 percent. By comparison, the interest rate for short-term loans in U.S. dollars in Vietnam reached 4.2 percent in the same year. Overall, loan interest rates across both currencies increased from the previous year.
