In March 2024, the inflation rate for restaurants, cafés, and similar services in the European Union was 5.5 percent, declining over the previous months but still representing one of the highest figures reported since December 2017. By contrast, restaurants and cafés in the EU recorded their lowest inflation rate in February 2021, at 1.7 percent.
