Opinion of sharing health data for various purposes in the U.S. in 2021

As of December 2021, 71 percent of survey respondents in the United States said they would be willing to share health data if it was to improve their own health, with fewer than 14 percent reporting to be unwilling to do so for this reason. Furthermore, around 62 percent reported they would share their own health data for clinical research.
