U.S. adults opinions on the use of AI to find false information on social media 2021

According to an online survey conducted in the United States in November 2021, 38 percent of respondents stated that social media companies' use of algorithms to find false information was a good idea for society, whilst 31 percent felt it was a bad idea. Overall, 30 percent of those asked said that they were not sure if the use of computer programs to detect false information was good or bad for society.
