Annual volume of GHG emissions of Huawei 2012-2022
In 2020, the Chinese enterprise Huawei emitted over two million tons of greenhouse gases, which amounted to 2.56 tons per million yuan of revenue. While the company was able to reduce the intensity of GHG emissions, it still increased its fuel consumption over the years. In addition to that, Huawei's water consumption amounted to 14 million tons in 2020.
