In June 2022, the consumer price index (CPI) of alcoholic beverages and tobacco in Morocco amounted to 129.8 points, with 2017 as the base year (=100). This was the highest increase in consumer prices registered among the categories of products and services. To follow, the transportation sector recorded a CPI of 124 points, while food and non-alcoholic beverage prices stood at 112.6 index points.
