Value of foreign property investment in Europe 2016-2022, by region
Foreign investment in the European property market in the first half of 2022 reached its highest half-year value since 2019. North America was the largest foreign investor in the European property market, with close to 22.5 billion U.S. dollars' worth of cross-border capital investments, while APAC investors, accounted for the second largest share of investment (6.3 billion U.S. dollars). In the same period, London, Milan, and Paris were the most attractive European markets for foreign investors.
