Number of organic producers in Egypt 2000-2021
In 2021, the number of organic producers in Egypt amounted to 970. This was an increase of 70 producers compared to 2015, but had kept stable since 2016. Moreover, organic producers in the country have been on the rise since 2000, when there were only 280 of them. Since 2018, the area of organic agriculture in Egypt has remained at 116,000 hectares.
