Japan: online stock trading value at securities firms by type 2023

In the six months from April to September 2023, the value of online stock trading at securities companies in Japan amounted to around 284.1 trillion Japanese yen. At 202.9 trillion yen, margin trading accounted for the largest share of online stock trading transactions.
