Gross earnings of employees in South Africa Q4 2020 - Q3 2023
As of the third quarter of 2023, the aggregated employee gross earning in South Africa reached over 850 billion South African rands (around 45.62 billion U.S. dollars). This was an increase from 833.6 billion South African rands (44.7 billion U.S. dollars) in the previous quarter. Overall, employee gross earning increased during the reviewed period. However, there were noticeable fluctuations in gross earnings of employees in the country in the first quarters of 2021, 2022, and 2023.
