Number of people living with dementia in France 2018-2050
In France, over 332 thousand people aged 90 years and above were living with dementia in 2018, this number was forecast to rise to almost 810 thousand by the year 2050. Dementia is a symptom of Alzheimer's disease, a progressive neurological disorder generally associated with aging. This explains the rise in number of people living with dementia as age advances.
