In 2021, around 75 percent of the men aged 15 to 64 years in Morocco were part of the labor force, meaning that they were employed or actively seeking employment. On the other hand, the female labor force participation rate was considerably lower, at about 22 percent. Morocco's total labor force amounted to approximately 12.5 million people as of 2022.
