Unemployment rate in Mozambique 2010-2019, by gender
Women in Mozambique have been harder hit by unemployment than men. As of 2019, the female unemployment rate in the country reached 3.5 percent, slightly above the national rate. Among men, instead, 2.85 percent of those of working age were unemployed.
