In a survey conducted in Nigeria in 2022, around 30 percent of the women declared that they worked in agriculture. Other common occupations of Nigerian women were trader, artisan, housewife, student, or skilled manual worker (e.g., trades like electrician, mechanic, machinist, or skilled manufacturing worker).
