Emissions from last mile delivery of non-food online purchases in Europe 2019

The carbon footprint of e-commerce logistics includes the last-mile delivery of online orders. A report assessed the emissions generated by the delivery of an average non-food product in selected European countries. Of those included, the United Kingdom recorded the highest emissions per last mile delivery in several product categories. A fashion product for example generated an average of 264 grams of CO2 emissions.
