Number of working hours lost worldwide from Q1 2020 to Q2 2022

In the aftermath of the Coronavirus pandemic, the working hours lost in the second quarter of 2020 amounted to the equivalent of 547 million full-time jobs, when compared with the fourth quarter of 2019. Since that quarter, the situation has improved, with the estimated number of working hours lost in Q2 2022 closer to pre-COVID levels, at approximately 123.2 million full-time equivalent jobs.
