Breakdown of renewable energy supply in Taiwan 2010-2020, by type
In 2020, waste-to-energy accounted for nearly 52 percent of Taiwan's renewable energy supply. Meanwhile, the contribution of solar photovoltaic to the renewable energy mix of Taiwan more than doubled in the last two years, becoming the second most important type of renewable for the country.
