When asked what the primary uses of hybrid or multi cloud was within the respondents' organization in 2022, the most frequent response was that their organizations use hybrid or multi cloud to accelerate development, with roughly 22 percent of respondents indicating as such. Hybrid and multi cloud are cloud architecture styles that combine the use of multiple different clouds. Usually, hybrid cloud refers to the usage of at least one private and one public cloud, whereas multi cloud usually refers to a cloud approach that is made up of more than one cloud service from more than one cloud vendor.
