Consumers' browsing preferences for retail items in US Q2 2021, by age group
A survey conducted among consumers in the United States in May2021 revealed that the most popular way of browsing for retail items was in person browsing, especially prominent among older consumers. About 60 percent of the those surveyed aged 55 and above preferred this option. Browsing for retail items on a brand's website using a computer/laptop was the second most preferred method, with consumers aged between 35-54 using this option slightly more than younger and older consumers.
