French women having practiced "no bra" at least once in a public place 2020, by age
In 2020, one in six (18 percent) young French women under the age of 25 never, or almost never, wore a bra. However, beyond their daily habits, a much higher number of women have already gone out at least once in their life without wearing a bra: 44 percent among all French women, and up to 59 percent among those under 25. The first reason given by women who do not wear bras is the discomfort of wearing one.
