According to a survey conducted in 2023 on gender equality in Japan, around 42 percent of respondents did not really have an opinion on the concept of female quota systems. However, over 39 percent of survey participants were in favor of implementing quota systems, while about 19 percent disagreed to at least some extent with the adoption of suchlike systems in Japan.
