Nights spent by the French population in non- and commercial accommodations 2020
The Covid-19 pandemic led a lot of people to review their way of traveling in 2020. Furthermore, tourism and leisure professionals already expected before the 2020 high season that French people would be on a smaller holiday budget during the coronavirus pandemic. Such a forecast could partly explain the 114.4 million nights spent by the French population in non-commercial accommodations against the 91.3 million overnight stays recorded in commercial accommodations in August 2020.
