Production value of motor vehicles in the EU-27 2012-2021
The production value of the motor vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers manufacturing industry in the European Union increased by 102.4 billion euros (+13.28 percent) in 2021. In total, the production value amounted to 874 billion euros in 2021. This increase was preceded by a declining production value in this industry.
The value of production is defined by Eurostat as the amount actually produced by the unit, based on sales, including changes in stocks and the resale of goods and services.
