Share of people doing sports twice or more per week Japan FY 2023, by age and gender
According to a survey conducted in November 2023 in Japan, 44.6 percent of men aged between 70 and 79 years were participating in sports at least three times a week, while 42.9 percent of women in the same age group did the same. Regular sports participation was highest among the elderly.
