Access to water, sanitation & clean fuels in Ghana 2018
As of 2018, approximately 79 percent of Ghanaians reported to have access to safe drinking water. According to the source, access to drinking water was significantly higher in urban areas (around 93 percent) than in rural ones (around 68 percent). Furthermore, the number of people in the country who were able to use clean fuels and technologies for cooking covered only 15 percent of the population in 2018.
